Location:
Aikido Borealis is conveniently located in Chugiak Alaska, just 7 miles north of Eagle River and 15 minutes from Palmer and Wasilla. Visitors are always welcome, and your first two classes are free.
Rates
- Adult/Junior - $50/month
- Family Rate - $85/month for two students, plus $35/month for each additional family member thereafter.
- Membership fees are due at the beginning of the month
Directions
Take the Glenn Highway north from Anchorage to the Peter's Creek exit and turn towards the mountain, proceeding past Ladybug Rock. Take your first right on Ski road. Proceed past the curve and turn in the first driveway on your right.
Beginners
We recommend interested students observe a class or two to get a good feel of Aikido practice. Beginners are always welcome and can start at any time. The first three classes are free. Please wear comfortable and loose clothing that covers the elbows and knees. Aikido is a contact activity, so please no jewelry or heavy perfume or cologne.
Juniors
Juniors classes minimum age is 8.
